COVID-19 Update

The coronavirus has turned our daily routines upside down and required many to adapt to a new normal.  As a family we have taken some time to spend quieter days together and plan for the Summer ahead.

We were very happy to hear the news last week that we are now permitted to open and welcome guests back to Lovesick Lake.   We believe that time with nature is good for the soul and are pleased that we can share that with you.

We would like to note that there will be a few new requirements to consider as you plan for your trip to the Lodge.  We are closely following our Public Health Unit, Ministry and industry guidance to ensure we keep you safe during your stay.  This information may be subject to change, so please check in for website updates and keep in touch.

Planning for your stay:

  • we are available for any questions you may have

  • one week prior to your stay we will provide you with a screening questionnaire; we ask any guests with respiratory symptoms or fever to please stay home

During your stay:

  • we will provide contactless check-in and check-out

  • you will receive your cottage cleaned in keeping with the Public Health Unit’s requirements and hand sanitizer and cleaner will be available during your stay

  • we ask that you and your family maintain physical distancing of 2 metres from other guests

  • the Lodge will remain closed due to physical distancing requirements and gathering restrictions

  • kayaks, the canoe and the paddleboard will be available for use; a sanitization station will be available and we ask that you sanitize the equipment before and after use

  • the beach and volleyball net will be open

Please bring with you:

  • bed linens, pillows and towels

  • personal supply of hand sanitizer

  • life jackets, if you have them

  • board games (we are unable to lend ours at this time)

  • fishing rod (we are unable to lend ours at this time)
